When using a smartphone the size of the text on clues is too small, I have ask the software designer to see if making it larger could be automated. 

But in the meantime just use this technique to get enlarged text. 

Using two digits slightly increase the width of the screen and when you then click on a the clue on the grid the clue will be enlarged.
